We have decided to partially re-open the garage from 15 June 2020, two days a week, with a skeleton staff on Monday and Friday, to “test the water”

 

It will, initially be on the following basis:

 

When                                                                    Open Monday and Friday 08:00 until 18:00

Who                                                                      By appointment only. We cannot do “call outs”, breakdown recovery or “drop ins”

Staff                                                                      Two only

What                                                                     MOT’s, General Repairs, Servicing, Diagnostics

 

Precautions: All vehicles will have the usual protective seat covers, gear stick, hand brake and

steering wheel protectors and foot mats and staff will wear face masks.

 

Procedures:

  1. Customers must book their vehicle in in advance and specify the work to be undertaken.

  2. The vehicle should be delivered between 8am and 9am where at all possible.

  3. The vehicle should be collected no later than 18:00

  4. If you have, (or develop) ANY Covid19 symptoms, the vehicle MUST NOT be brought in by you or any of your household

  5. You must observe social distancing, both with staff and any customers on our premises.

  6. The vehicle should be driven on to the garage forecourt and parked in one of the spaces provided, locked and the key(s) brought to the reception area.

  7. Only ONE customer can be in the office at any time.

  8. We will accept and sanitise your key(s) and check (verbally) the work to be undertaken and your details for our files. If anything needs to be done to your vehicle that has not been agreed prior to its delivery, or we need permission when work is priced, we will call you as is our normal practice.

  9. When work is completed and your vehicle is ready for collection, we will call you.

  10. We cannot do “collection and delivery”, we will not have the staff available.

  11. When you come to collect your vehicle, we will sanitise your key again and remove any foot mats, seat covers etc from your vehicle.

  12. Customers can pay their invoice online with the details on the invoice (using your invoice number as the reference). We will accept card payments and the key pad will be sanitised after each use. We prefer that no cash is tendered for payment at this time.
